Harry Brook Reveals Kevin Pietersen’s Key Area for England to Improve in ODIs

Harry Brook has revealed what Kevin Pietersen has been working on with England’s white-ball batsmen since joining the squad as a specialized mentor.

Pietersen was hired as a specialist mentor for England’s ODI and T20I teams earlier this month, and his tenure is slated to last until next year’s ODI World Cup in South Africa. The former England batsman has extensive experience playing in South African conditions, and his record in white-ball cricket makes him an important addition to the coaching staff.

Kevin Pietersen scored nearly 4,500 runs in 136 One-Day Internationals at an average of over 40, and his T20I record for England includes a strike rate of over 140. He was part of England’s camp during their recent 3-0 T20I series victory over Sri Lanka and will continue to work with the team for the three-match ODI series against the same opponents.
