One of the greatest cricket players in history, Virat Kohli is undoubtedly an inspiration to billions of people worldwide. His detractors, however, may mistake his on-field ferocity for bravado. He is, nevertheless, one of the most modest people off the pitch, and there are many examples to support that claim.
On the sidelines of a Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) training session, Virat Kohli recently had another encounter with his former India U19 teammate Taruwar Kohli and his daughter. Taruwar shared a video of the exchange on his Instagram account.
Taruwar was a member of the Indian squad that won the 2008 U19 World Cup under Virat Kohli leadership.
Taruwar stated in the video that the former India captain politely got off the team bus to greet him and his daughter, who appeared to be a young admirer. “Papa is also Kohli?” Kohli said to the child.Additionally, the three of them posed for a brief shot.
“The world knows your records. I know your heart. Stay blessed, brother,” Taruwar, who was a part of the Punjab Kings and the Rajasthan Royals during his career, wrote in the caption.

For the second consecutive year, RCB has advanced to the Indian Premier League (IPL) final. Rajat Patidar and company are one step away from becoming two-time winners after winning their first championship the previous year. On Tuesday, May 26, they defeated the Gujarat Titans by a commanding 92 runs at Dharamsala to advance to the finals.
On Sunday, May 31, the Bengaluru-based team will play a summit match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad against either the Gujarat Titans or the Rajasthan Royals.
