Rinku Singh Wants Kohli, Rohit at 2027 ODI World Cup

Rinku Singh has expressed his optimism that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be part of India’s squad for the 2027 ODI World Cup, and that they will assist the team in securing the trophy.

The young batter, who has already made a name for himself in India’s T20 setup, is of the opinion that the inclusion of the two senior players would enhance the team’s chances of success at the global tournament.

India last won the ODI World Cup on home soil in 2011 under the stewardship of MS Dhoni, and the nation has been striving to reclaim the title ever since. Rinku Singh was a member of India’s successful 2026 T20 World Cup campaign, which was contested on home soil earlier this year. He has played 48 T20Is and two ODIs for India.

Rinku Singh  primary career objective transcends individual performances, despite the fact that he achieved immediate global recognition by hitting five consecutive sixes in an over during an IPL 2023 match for Kolkata Knight Riders against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad.
