Tavengwa Mukuhlani’s ICC Appointment Celebrated by Jay Shah

Tavengwa Mukuhlani has been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board until November 2027.

Mukuhlani, the Chairman of Zimbabwe Cricket and its representative on the ICC Board, succeeds Imran Khwaja after his departure from the Board.

Mukuhlani is presently the chair of the HR and Remuneration Committee and serves on the ICC Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee (F&CA) and the Nominations Committee.

The appointment is made at a critical juncture for African cricket, as Zimbabwe is preparing to co-host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 with South Africa and Namibia.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah extended his warmest congratulations to Tavengwa Mukuhlani on his new position and pledged to collaborate closely with him to enhance the game’s global appeal.
