Ben Stokes’ Cricket Comeback Confirmed

Will Ben Stokes participate in this summer’s One-Day Cup?
Campbell, Durham’s head coach, expressed confidence that Stokes will compete in the One-Day Cup this summer. On July 21, Durham will face Derbyshire in the first round of the One-Day Cup. Stokes declined to participate in this season’s auction, so he does not currently have a contract to play in The Hundred.
Because The Hundred begins on the same day, players registered for that competition are ineligible to represent their countries in the One-Day Cup unless their teams allow them to do so.
