Suryakumar Yadav Reveals Major Regret From International Career

Suryakumar Yadav made his one-day international debut on July 18, 2021, against Sri Lanka, and played 37 more before retiring on November 19, 2023, in the World Cup final against Australia in Ahmedabad.

In his ODI career, he scored 773 runs at an average of 25.76. Suryakumar hit 18 runs off 28 balls in India’s World Cup final loss to Australia.

Reflecting on his international career, Suryakumar Yadav admitted that, while he only played one Test match before other players returned and he did not receive another chance, his true dissatisfaction was with the one-day format.
