The police investigated the movement of the SIM card that was purportedly used by the sender and contacted the courier agency in question to enquire about the consignments. Ganguly, the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal, has stated that he has implemented security measures while authorities attempt to resolve the issue.
Tania Bhattacharya, Ganguly’s personal secretary, visited the Thakurpukur police station in south Kolkata on Monday, August 10, to submit a written complaint. The complaint elaborated on the threatening nature of the most recent letter that Ganguly received at his office. The police have verified that they are treating the matter with urgency and have initiated a formal investigation into the source and delivery method of the correspondence.
