Jadeja entered an elite group that includes Anil Kumble (619 wickets), Ravichandran Ashwin (537), Kapil Dev (434), and Harbhajan Singh (417) in the format.

Jadeja currently has the third most Test wickets of any left-arm spinner in the world. He trails Sri Lanka’s Rangana Herath (433 wickets) and New Zealand’s Daniel Vettori (362 wickets). This achievement cements Jadeja’s place among the world’s best spin spinners in Test cricket.

Jadeja’s achievement is even more significant because he joins Kapil Dev as only the second Indian to have scored over 4,000 Test runs and taken 350 wickets. Jadeja became the fourth player in Test cricket history to achieve both milestones, joining Kapil Dev, England’s Ian Botham, and New Zealand’s Daniel Vettori.
