Two of Indian cricket’s most distinguished players are reuniting – this time off the pitch. Former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan has joined the ownership group of the Vancouver Anchors, a men’s and women’s franchise competing in the Canada Super 60. He joins Nagendra “Naga” Siddoutam and Stockholm-based Anchor Sports AB, bringing international athletic experience and new energy to the league.
Zaheer will rejoin with close friend and long-time India teammate Yuvraj Singh, who is also the co-owner of Canada Super 60. The two shared changing rooms and made history together, including India’s 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup victory. They are now beginning a new chapter at Vancouver’s BC Place.
