
BCCI Annual General Meeting Scheduled in Mumbai, IPL Council Changes on Agenda
On September 18, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai. The state association received confirmation of this on Tuesday from the office of BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia. The 95th annual general meeting of the board will be held at the Board of Control for Cricket in India headquarters.
This notice from the secretary’s office stated that the Board of Control for Cricket in India will hold its 95th Annual General Meeting (henceforth referred to as “AGM”) on September 18, 2026, at 11:30 AM (IST) at BCCI Headquarters, Mumbai, to conduct business in accordance with the agenda attached.
The election and induction of two General Body representatives to the IPL Governing Council and the induction of one Indian Cricketer’s Association delegate are the two main topics on the agenda.
The BCCI’s audited accounts for FY 2025–2026 and the annual budget for FY 2026–2027 will also be discussed during the AGM.
The approval of the appointments to the Junior Cricket Committee is also anticipated at the AGM. Applications are being accepted for five committee posts by the BCCI; the deadline for submissions is September 5. Following a screening and shortlisting procedure and in-person interviews, the appointments will be made.
