Arshdeep Singh Says Sorry To Ashwin Over Bowler Rankings

R Ashwin is fifth among Arshdeep Singh‘s top five bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar received the most votes from Indian pacers, followed by Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal. Arshdeep apologised to the seasoned spinner after Ashwin was placed last.

Arshdeep began by stating his personal preference for fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar before explaining his reasoning for each selection. He underlined Shami’s skill at presenting the seam and his ability to seam the ball on any surface.

Kuldeep Yadav’s distinctive left-arm Chinaman bowling skill set earned him third spot, while Yuzvendra Chahal’s great record and prolific wicket-taking earned him fourth. I like him, so I’m a little biased. I’ll start by rating all of the quick bowlers.

At number two, I’d go with Shami bhai, who, as you know, can seam the ball on any wicket. “His bowling is excellent, and he delivers the seam perfectly,” Arshdeep Singh commented on Krishnank Atrey’s YouTube channel.

Why was Ashwin ranked fifth by Arshdeep Singh?

The legendary “Kul-Cha” duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav stayed in Arshdeep Singh top five. Kuldeep finished third, followed by Chahal in fourth. The left-arm seamer expressed displeasure to his former Punjab Kings captain, Ravichandran Ashwin, for keeping him at No. 5.

“Third would be Kuldeep Yadav because he has a very rare skill set as a left-arm Chinaman.” Then there’s Yuzi bhai, our Punjab buddy, who also has a fantastic record. He’s taken so many wickets.”

Arshdeep stated, “I didn’t want to rank Ash bhai last, but there were no positions left, so he comes in at number five.” He is fantastic, but Ash bhai was also my first captain in the IPL with Punjab. Sorry, Ash bhai; I’ll personally message you,” he said.

Arshdeep Singh Indian all-format starting lineup

Arshdeep Singh released his all-format India playing XI, as well as his bowler rankings. He selected Rahul Dravid at number three, Virat Kohli at number four, Yuvraj Singh at number five, Rohit Sharma at number six, and Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir as openers.

MS Dhoni was named as the wicketkeeper at number seven. Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Harbhajan Singh led his XI’s bowling attack.
