Dewald Brevis Smashes Stunning No-Look Six in The Hundred 2026
Dewald Brevis hit one of the shots of The Hundred 2026, a magnificent no-look six during London Spirit’s run chase against MI London in Match 12 at The Oval on Wednesday, July 29.
The South African kid wowed the audience with an incredible exhibition of power hitting as the London Spirit chased down 165 with 11 balls to spare, claiming their first win of the season. While Lhuan-dre Pretorius lay the groundwork with a scorching 64 off 28 balls, Brevis sealed the deal with an unbeaten 37 off just 18 deliveries.
The highlight of the game came in the last minutes of the chase, when Olly Stone pitched one full on the pads. Brevis maintained superb balance, kept his head down throughout the hit, and neatly blasted the ball over deep midwicket for a huge six.
What made the shot even more impressive was that Dewald Brevis barely noticed where the ball was going after making contact.

Pretorius and Dewald Brevis power London Spirit to their first triumph.
Jonny Bairstow and Lhuan-dre Pretorius got London Spirit off to a strong start in pursuit of a 165-point target. The partnership reached 50 in just 18 balls, with Pretorius dominating MI London’s bowling attack.
The youthful left-hander hammered seven sixes in his blazing 64 off 28 balls, completing his first half-century in The Hundred in just 23 deliveries. Trent Boult eventually dismissed him for 64 with the score at 101, but the damage was already done.
Brevis then ensured there were no late problems, finishing unbeaten on 37 off 18 balls, with James Rew supporting him with an unbeaten 19. Their partnership led London Spirit to an easy seven-wicket victory, taking them off the bottom of the points table and delivering them their first win of the season.
